Each day our programs are filled with a variety of engaging activities designed to connect children with the natural world. Our daily activities include:

Nature Walks: Guided explorations through different natural habitats, where children can observe wildlife, plants, and the changing seasons.

Hands-On Learning: Activities such as gardening, building shelters, and exploring ecosystems to teach children about environmental stewardship and sustainability.

Creative Play: Opportunities for imaginative play using natural materials, such as creating art with leaves and sticks and engaging in nature crafts. Children also learn the basics of whittling and creating simple wooden items, fostering creativity and fine motor skills.

Group Games: Fun, cooperative games that encourage teamwork and physical activity.

Storytelling and Reflection: Time for sharing stories, reading nature-themed books, and reflecting on the day’s experiences.

Fire Use and Cooking: Safe, supervised fire-building activities where children learn to build and maintain a fire, as well as cook simple, healthy meals and snacks over an open flame.

​Tool Use: Instruction on the safe use of basic tools like knives, saws, and hand drills, empowering children to engage in practical, hands-on projects such as carving, whittling, and shelter building.​

Bush Blossom Explorers' mission is to nurture children's natural curiosity and love for the outdoors by providing immersive and hands-on experiences. We aim to foster resilience, creativity, and a deep connection to nature so that our young explorers grow into mindful, confident individuals who care for the Earth and its ecosystems.

Bush Blossom Explorers is located in the Byron Bay Hinterland, between Lismore and Clunes.
