Bush Playgroup

Our Bush Playgroup sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to connect, socialise, and immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural world. Designed for families to enjoy together, our sessions encourage exploration, creativity, and bonding through a variety of outdoor activities.

At the heart of our playgroup is the freedom for children to lead their own play. We believe in the importance of unstructured time in nature, where children can explore at their own pace, make discoveries, and engage in imaginative, child-led play. While there are a few optional group activities, the focus remains on free play, allowing children to follow their curiosity and develop a deeper connection with the environment.

Parents can also relax, connect with one another, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, knowing their children are engaged in meaningful, nature-based experiences. From nature walks and wildlife spotting to crafting with natural materials and playing in the open air, each session is an opportunity to foster independence, build lasting friendships, and create cherished memories together.

Bush Blossom Explorers is an all-weather event, so we encourage families to dress appropriately for the day's conditions—whether that’s rain, shine, or winds! We believe that nature offers something special in every season, and our sessions go ahead in most weather. We do have undercover areas available for shelter when needed, ensuring everyone stays comfortable while still enjoying the outdoors.

If we do need to cancel due to an extreme weather event you will be notified and refunded for that session.

WHO: This program is designed for children who have started walking up to 6 years old. Older siblings are always welcome to join as long as they remain mindful of the younger children, creating a safe and fun environment for all!

WHEN: Monday + Tuesday 9:30 - 11:30am

COST:

Half Term (5 weeks)  $75

Half Term + Sibling $100

Full Term (10 weeks) $150

Full Term+ Sibling $200

Casual Bookings (If space) $20 + Sibling $25

Babies in arms are free of charge

To ensure we have the appropriate staffing for each session, booking is essential. You will be required to pay for your session prior to attending, which helps us prepare and provide the best experience for everyone. Please make sure to read our Makeups & Refunds tab for information on how to manage missed sessions or cancellations.
